Screen Time
The average american spends 5 hours watching TV a day, 3 hours on their smartphone and 8 hours working. It's no wonder why we feel like we do not have enough time in a day.
For us, moderation is hard. Its much easier to fall to extremes, because we nurse ourselves little by little until we reach extreme levels. One episode, two episode, three... One quick look at instagram and 30 minutes can pass. While TV is not inherently bad, when it becomes our primary source of cultural and artistic intake, it becomes a problem. It disconnects us from the world outside, and around us. It also takes us away from our most precious asset, our time.
How much time do you waste watching TV? What things have you not had the time for?
